Emily Reagan has recently been selected as starting pitcher for the 12U Northeast Missouri Hotshots fast pitch softball team. She was selected after tryouts were held Aug. 8 and 9 in Vandalia, Ball players from Northeast Missouri and the St. Louis area attended the tryouts.

The Hotshots team recently participated in a 2010 USA World Series Qualifier Tournament in St. Charles on Oct. 17 and 18. The team played against teams from St. Louis and Illinois and received third place.

Emily is in sixth grade at Monroe City R-1 Middle School and has been playing softball for six years.
