The Monroe City Sheltered Workshop recently received a grant for recycling containers which will be placed throughout Monroe City. The idea for the containers came originally from the Monroe City Park Board members who made the suggestion to the workshop. Manager Connie Thurman wrote the grant which makes provisions for the containers to be set in high-traffic areas throughout Monroe Çity.
