David Shively injured in accident
A 17-year-old Hunnewell man, David W. Shively, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:50 a.m. on Tuesday on Monroe County Road 390, one mile southeast of Hunnewell. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that Shively was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. by Monroe City Ambulance. The patrol reported that he lost control of the 2000 Ford pickup he was driving after cresting a hill, traveled off of the road, struck a fence, a utility pole and some small trees before coming to rest on its wheels.
