Monroe County Sheriff’s Department reports on domestic disturbances

The Monroe County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls.
No charges were filed in a case where officers responded to Madison to assist the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a domestic situation on July 26.
Deputies investigated the theft of a diesel fuel from a farm residence near Madison on July 27.
There was a possible break in at Paris and nothing was missing.
No charges were filed in a domestic disturbance in Paris on July 28.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute near Stoutsville on July 29.
There was a report of a stolen four-wheeler in Monroe City on July 30.
Officers received information about an individual who was talking about suicide on July 31. The individual was located and OK but was transported to Mid Missouri Mental Health for evaluation.
The Department assisted a park ranger with several subjects at a campground that were found in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rick Sumpter, possession of under 35 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia, posted $2,000 bond;
David Davidson, July 24, two Boone County warrants for second-degree assault, $150,000 bond;
B.J. Lehenbauer, probation and parole warrant, released by probation and parole;
Brandon Aldridge, July 25, minor in possession, posted $1,500 bond;
Lee Johnson, July 28, warrant, bond set at $200 cash;
Donald Tomaszewski, July 29, domestic assault, posted $1,000 bond;
Christopher Waters, July 29, warrant, posted $500 bond;
Sarah Minor (of Macon), July 31, warrant, transferred to Randolph County;
Dennis Neeson, warrant, transferred to Macon County;
Eddie Ayer, Aug. 1, DWI/possession, posted $3,500 bond.

Monroe City Police Department

The Monroe City Police Department responded to the following calls.
Jimmie D. Evans was issued for a citation for failing to register his vehicle on Aug. 3.
An animal was reported at large at the 1000 of North Elm on Aug. 2. The dog was recovered and taken to the animal shelter.
Norman E. Jones was issued a citation for a DWI and not having a driver's license on Aug. 1.
There was a report of a careless and imprudent driver on Highway 36, but the driver could not be located on July 31.
Damien K. Hardwick was issued a citation for failure to maintain financial responsibility.
Police attempted to catch a dog at large at the 100 block of First Street on July 30. In a second attempt to catch the dog, the dog became aggressive and charged an officer. The dog ran off after an attempt to shoot it, and then was later located, but was not caught.
There was a report of a juvenile shot in the finger with a slingshot by another juvenile July 29 at North Park. There was no serious injury and the parent did not wish to file a report. Police confiscated several air soft and BB guns to be released to parents.
There was a report of a pit bull running loose on Third Street that police were unable to catch.
An officer checked the well being of a subject at the 100 block of East Dover.
A report of property damage to a vehicle at the 700 block of East Cleveland was taken.
Vandalism was reported at First Baptist Church on July 28.
There was a report of a person operating a motorcycle with an expired license plate and driver's license at Abel's on July 27. The subject was gone upon arrival.
There was a request for extra patrol in the 200 block of East Summer Street.
Extra patrol was requested to Kendrick's Trailer Park.
